Waiver, release, indemnification and other acknowledgements and agreements related to participation in The Long Walk to Freedom and related activities.

I understand that walking and/or running in the The Long Walk to Freedom and related activities (the "Event") involves potential health risks of personal injury, including, but not limited to, falls, contacts, with other participants as well as hazards associated with effects of weather (including rain, high heat and/or humidity), traffic, road, ground and environmental conditions. I understand and agree that I will not be permitted to use of have headphones, skateboards or roller blades, or to participate with dogs or other pets. I further understand that strollers or baby joggers may be used by participants who are walking, but not by those who are running, and that I assume all risks associated with any minor children under my care during the Event. I represent that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in this Event, and I agree to stop and request assistance of I experience and physical symptoms (such as dizziness, shortness of breath, fatigue or pain) or any other condition which may make it difficult, dangerous or unsafe to continue. It is my responsibility to dress appropriately. Even though maps, rest areas, refreshments and other assistance may be provided, I understand that I am solely responsible for my own health and safety and that of any minor children under my care while participating in this Event.

Further, I hereby grant full permission to Boaz & Ruth, Inc. and Long Walk to Freedom affiliates and solution providers to use my likeness and/or vice and any and all photographs, videos, audios, images, and any other record of this Event (including the right to edit or crop such records) for any legitimate purpose without compensation or remuneration.

In consideration of the acceptance of my entry and being allowed to participate, I acknowledge of risks involved with this Event and expressly assume all risks arising out of or related to my participation in the Event. In addition, I hereby, for myself, my executers, administrators, and assigns do hereby forever indemnify, release and discharge The Long Walk to Freedom and Boaz & Ruth, Inc., and all other sponsoring organizations, together with their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents and volunteers from and against any and all claims, liabilities and damages of any kind arising form or related to my participation in the Event, the participation of any minor children in my care or the use of any images and/or voices.

If the participant is a minor, a parent or guardian must to consent to the minor�s participation and agree to the terms above on his/her behalf.
